The Application of railroadSpikes on the Rail Fixing System
As a core component of the railway fastener system, spikes work in conjunction with other rail fixing (such as clips, base plates, nuts, and washers) to form the connection system between rails and sleepers. Spikes are fixed on sleepers through direct driving or anchoring, providing an installation foundation for clamping components like clips and base plates. Clips and base plates, in turn, rely on the support of spikes to achieve elastic clamping of the rails. Nuts and washers further enhance the stability of the connection and prevent loosening.
Through their mutual collaboration, they not only ensure the correct position of the rails and the accuracy of gauge dimensions but also buffer vibrations and impacts caused by train loads through synergistic effects, collectively maintaining the integrity and safety of the track structure.

Dog spikes can be categorized into cut track spikes and forged spikes, while railroad screw spikes can be divided into double-head screw spikes, square head screw spikes, SS Series Sleeper Screws, and so on.
