Key components
- Switch: This is the part that guides the train. It consists of two movable, tapered rails called switch rails or points, which are positioned against two fixed rails called stock rails. A switch machine and rods operate the switch rails to open one path and close another.
- Frog: The frog is the crossing point where two different rail lines intersect. It creates a gap for the wheels of the train to pass through safely.
- Guard rails: Located opposite the frog, the guard rail is a rail placed to guide the wheel flange and prevent it from derailing at the intersection.
- Closure rails: These are connecting rails that link the switch to the frog.
- Switch machine and switch rods: These are the operating mechanisms that move the switch rails to change the track direction.
- Fastening assemblies and cross ties: These are the specific components that hold the rails in place and provide the underlying support for the turnout.

Packaging for heavy railway fasteners (such as fish bolts, anchor spikes) must emphasize load-bearing capacity and impact protection. First, place the products into custom rubber cushioning sleeves, with focused protection for the head and threaded sections. Then, position the cushioned products onto steel pallets reinforced with channel steel at the base. During stacking on the pallets, maintain vertical alignment and ensure the stack height does not exceed 1.8 meters. Secure the stack with high-strength chains, placing wooden blocks between the chains and product contact points. Finally, cover the stack with a PVC waterproof tarpaulin, fastening its edges to the pallet with bolts.
