How to install QU100 crane rail
Oct 14, 2025
The QU100 crane rail is an industrial rail specifically designed for medium-sized crane tracks. Its installation must strictly follow standards and procedures to ensure the stability of the track system and the safe operation of lifting equipment.

First, the sleepers should be inspected and positioned before construction. Concrete sleepers must be laid flat and stable, with the track gauge precisely meeting the design requirements. QU100 rails can be customized in length according to project needs. During construction, the rail ends must be neat and free of damage to facilitate smooth installation of rail fasteners and joints.

When laying the rails, place the rail on the sleepers first, using rail clamps or guide tools to fix its position, ensuring the rail is closely seated on the sleeper. QU100 rails are usually used with a rail fastening system, such as bolted or clipped fasteners, to secure the rail firmly to the sleeper and prevent lateral or longitudinal displacement during operation. During installation, the bolt torque must be evenly applied, ensuring stable clamping force that meets technical specifications.

At rail joints, standard fishplates or other compatible joint components should be used to ensure flat and tight rail end connections, minimizing wear from wheel load impact at the joint. After installation, the entire track should be re-checked for level and track gauge to confirm that rails are correctly positioned and securely fixed.

Additionally, protective measures should be applied during installation. In coastal or high-humidity environments, apply anti-rust coatings or oil to the rail surface to slow corrosion. In high-wear conditions, rubber pads or buffer devices can be used to reduce the impact from wheel loads.

GNEE RAIL not only provides high-quality QU100 crane rails, but also offers rail laying guidance, customized rail accessories, and installation technical support, ensuring that every track system is installed accurately, operates smoothly, and meets the requirements for long-term reliable industrial rail operation.
