Ss35 Sleeper Screw Raw Material
Ss35 Screw spike is usually made of Q235,35#,45# steel in China. As its nail rod surface has thread, it get its name as screw spike. The pull-out resistance is 0.5 ~ 1.0 times larger than that of common rail spike, but the thrust resistance is 50% less.

HOW TO JUDGE A SCREW SPIKE IS QUALIFIED OR NOT
The quality of precision screw is directly related to production of wire. The second step is to inspect head screw forming. Mould testing is the most important for forming process of screw spike. Good mould is the premise that makes good screw spike.
To judge if a rail screw spike is qualified, you can check that it meets the following technical requirements:
- Surface: The surface should be free of dents, burrs, flash, burns, and scales
- Threads: The upper thread should be free of bumps and burrs, and the lower thread should be neatly shaped with no cracks
- Head: A forged burst crack on the surface of the screw spike round table should not extend to the shaft
- Size: The formed screw spike should be measured for its accurate size
- Thread pitch: The thread pitch should meet the requirements of the customer and international standards
- Tensile test: The screw spike should not break when a load of 130kN is applied
