What are the technical requirements for screw spikes?
Generally, screw spikes can be applied to fasten railway ties, sleepers or railway turnout and also they also can be used in conjunction with plastic ferrules, casted into concrete ties /sleepers.

Railroad turnouts are made up of many railway accessories, and in order to ensure safe driving, the quality of each railway accessory must be guaranteed. Screw spikes are also one of the many railway accessories. Special attention is also required when purchasing and selecting screw spikes. Only qualified spikes can guarantee the safety of driving. So what are the technical requirements for screw spikes? The specifications as follow:
- The material of the screw spike is Q235-A steel, and the technical requirements should meet the requirements of GB700.
- The upper thread of the screw spike is M24, the basic size should meet the requirements of GB196, and the thread tolerance is made according to the 8g specified in GB197.
- The lower thread of the screw spike is special M25.6×6-d24.0/25.6 thread, and the tooth height is 3.25-00.25mm.
- The end of the screw spike is manufactured according to the provisions of GB2.
