Railroad screw spike spikes are used to fasten sole plates and ribbed base plates to wooden sleepers. In rail construction with the concrete sleepers, the railroad screw spike is used in combination with a plastic dowel pressed in the concrete sleeper, indirect or direct fastenings of rails on concrete and wooden sleepers. Characteristically, the sleeper screw thread may only be produced in a hotforming operation. The different shapes of the head correspond to the pass form of the respective spanner used for fastening and loosening of the railroad screw spikes.
The 3V railway sleeper screw spike is a specially designed high-performance track fastener used to securely attach rails to wooden or concrete sleepers. Its unique three-stage variable thread design (3V) provides different clamping forces along the screw, achieving more uniform pressure distribution, thereby improving rail fixation stability and pull-out resistance. This design effectively absorbs longitudinal and lateral impacts from train operations, reducing track loosening and wear, and ensuring long-term track safety.
